CYU5309 - Environmental Chemistry, this is
offered at Level 5 of the B.Sc. Programme. The academic value of this course is
3 credit; which means that you have to spend about 150 hours of study. It is the science of chemical phenomenon
occurring in the environment i.e air, water soil and biota. It may be defined
as the study of the sources, reactions, transport, effects and fates chemical
species in the water, air and soil environment. A basic understanding of the
fundamental concepts of environmental chemistry is therefore important for all.
