This is a 5 credit course offered at Level 5 of the BA
in English and ELT and will involve 250 hours of study. This course is designed
to provide an understanding of language learning theories that underpin different
approaches to language teaching and guide students to use effective strategies in
promoting the four skills and the development of vocabulary in the classroom.
