This is the first pure mathematics course offered for the Bachelor of Science Degree Programme. You are therefore advised to go through the material very carefully since this will remain as the foundation of your mathematical abilities for life. It is a 3-credit course which will require about one hundred and fifty notional hours. You should spend most of those hours to prove results, study the examples and to solve the activity questions in the course book.
