Disasters come unexpectedly without invitation, but they leave a
tragic mark in our lives. Disasters can and have to be mitigated. This Level 4 course of the BA Degree in
Social Sciences programme will take you on a unique learning journey
where you will learn how communication can be maximized to help avert or
contain the negative properties of disaster. This is a 3 credit course and will require about 150 hours to successfully complete it.
