Criminal Procedure is a 1st year compulsory subject and credit weightage is 6. This is a most significant subject in the syllabus and after learning this subject students will gain sound knowledge on Sri Lankan criminal procedure.
To provide students with the deep knowledge of criminal procedure in Sri Lanka and some other jurisdictions as well as the procedure in International criminal courts is an objective of this course.Develop students’ research skills in the topics related to criminal procedure and develop students’ abilities to write theoretical and practical legal research papers are also other objectives of this course.
