This is a compulsory course in the second year and credit weightage of this subject is 4. This subject is very important in relation to criminal justice administration and it aims to provide students with the knowledge of the basic principles of International Criminal Law (ICL) and develop the skills to grasp and explain the principles. In addition to that, this course will help students to identify theories and fundamental principles relating to ICL. Application of ICL principles to the contemporary issues and conflicts in various countries and familiarizing the jurisprudence developed by national and international tribunals are key advantages of learning this subject.
