SSU2145: Political Participation, Representation, and Governance is a 03 credit course offered at Level IV in the first semester of the B.A. degree in Social Sciences. This course deals with some important aspects of democratic political processes; political participation and representation. The course content will cover practical issues with special reference to several case studies from across the world on broadening political participation, holding elections, issues faced by women and minorities, and the role of civil society.
