Power electronics is an emerging area of study in the field of electrical engineering. Most traditional electrical systems are now being replaced by power electronic devices. This course covers the fundamentals of power electronics such as Power semiconductor devices, AC-DC, DC-DC, AC-AC and DC-AC converters. This course is 4 credit course which you need to spend around 200 notional hours of study time.
