This is a 2 credit compulsory course offered to students following the Degree Programme in l Mechanical Engineering.
This course deals with Engineering significance of materials such as phase diagrams and their interpretations, strengthening mechanisms, dislocations and mechanical behaviour of materials, failure mechanisms of materials, polymers, ceramics and composites and selection of materials for various applications.
