This is a 02 credit course preferably taken by the students in the second year of study.  At the completion of this course students are expected demonstrate competency in dimensional analysis & model studies, pipe network analysis & design, preliminary design of pumps & turbine systems and analysis of flows with uniform flow conditions in open channels.

During the course of study students are expected to perform laboratory experiments on pipe friction, pumps, turbines and open channel flow.

CVX3340 Introduction to Hydraulics and Hydrology is the main pre-requisite for this course.
