Indexing and Abstracting (HSU5304) is the first course of the second semester of BA Honors in LIS Degree programme. This course introduces you to two important practices in information retrieval and searching behavior, Indexing and Abstracting.
This is a three (03) credit course and there are 10 sessions in this course which will help you to improve your capabilities in indexing and abstracting practices. There are one demonstration, two (02) practical sessions and two (02) continuous assessment tests in the course.
