AGX5376 - "Crop Processing" and this is level 5 optional and three credit course. Crops have unbreakable relationship with human beings from their civilization and they provide a clear solution to hunger. The contribution of various crops to the economy of the country cannot be neglected. In most of the cases we cannot consume the harvested products as it is and need further processing to bring them as consumable products. Therefore crop processing plays important as well as integral role in the field of agriculture. This course crop processing (AGX5376) emphasize the processing methods involve in the agriculture for different types of crops. Further this course consisted with three units as processing of major export crops, processing of other cash crops and the processing of paddy and other grains.
