Fish biology & fishery management, ZYU5301, a 3 credit course offered by the Dept. of Zoology. This is a level 5 course and conducted in 2nd semester. It includes theory sessions and compulsory laboratory practical session. This course introduce basic principles of fish biology and to make the students familiarize with the Sri Lankan fisheries and they are capable of analyzing the problems and managing these resources successfully for sustainable exploitation.
