BYU5300/BOU 3100is a 3 credit course offered at the Level 5 of the B.Sc Degree programme. This requires about 75 hours of study time. Academic activities of the course consists of both theoretical and practical components and are conducted during the second semester. This course will introduce you to the diversity of different microorganism on various environments such as soil, air, water and food and their interactions and activities within their communities as well as their environments. Further you will learn about the major roles that microorganisms play in human health and how they can be used in agricultural, industrial and environmental related issues.
