This is a compulsory course with 5 SLQF credits at level 4 in the Bachelor of Technology Honours in Engineering (Textile & Clothing) and Bachelor of Industrial Studies Honours ( Apparel Production & Management, Textile Manufacture and Fashion Design & Product Development) ) degree programs offered by the Department of Textile and Apparel Technology.
The main aim of the course is to impart the knowledge about how the final quality of the product in Textile and Apparel sectors can be assured with the use of quality management systems and different modes of testing of incoming materials and finished product.
