TAI5478-Fashion Design Development are a 4 credit course offered at Level 5 Bachelor of
Industrial Studies programme offered by the Faculty of Engineering
Technology of the Open University of Sri Lanka. Department of Textile and
Apparel Technology administer the course. The aim of the project course
is to give the student an opportunity to apply his or her theoretical knowledge
obtained by following the courses offered in Level 3 and 4 of the Bachelor of
Industrial Studies programme in the area of specialization of Fashion Design
and Product Development and the practical skills gathered through his or her
own experience in real life situations of fashion product development.
