The course on Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) is designed to provide students
with a comprehensive understanding of the theories and concepts as well as tools of human
resource information systems and equip them with latest knowledge in to be used in HRIS to
meet the human resource information needs of the organization using technology. In designing
this HRIS course it expected to improve students’ understanding of the necessary technology, the
people who work with HRIS, and its role in organizational performance.
