TAX7368 - Specialty fabrics, a level 7 course which has 3 credits. This course is an elective course for all the students who have registered for the programme "Bachelor of Technology Honours in Engineering". This course is offered only in English medium.

This is the online class of the course TAX7464, which is level 7 , Four (4) credit compulsory course of the Textile and Clothing Engineering specialisation of the Bachelor of Technology programme . This online class is supplemental to the other modes of delivery.

TAY7880 Engineering Research Project (Textile and Clothing Engineering) is a course offered at Level 7 for the students of Bachelor of Technology Honours in Engineering Degree programme in the Faculty of Engineering Technology of the Open University of Sri Lanka. The Department of Textile and Apparel Technology offers the course TAY7880. 

Students are expected to spend around 800 hours during the academic year in order to complete the course successfully. They can obtain the necessary guidance from the assigned supervisor.

Aim of this course is to carry out an industry-based project during the final year, in order to demonstrate learners’ exposure to professional engineering practice. It should also demand individual analysis and judgement, assessed independently from the work of others.

TAX6180 Research Methodology and Project Identification (Textile and Clothing Engineering) is a course offered at Level 6 for the students of Bachelor of Technology Honours in Engineering Degree programme in the Faculty of Engineering Technology of the Open University of Sri Lanka. The Department of Textile and Apparel Technology offers the course TAX6180. 

This is a compulsory course for Bachelor of Technology Honours in Engineering Degree programme.

Students are expected to spend around 50 hours during the academic year in order to complete the course successfully. They can obtain the necessary guidance from the course coordinator.

Aim of this course is to provide the important concepts of Research Methodology and to teach students to write a research proposal for an identified research project.
